Drafting off a successful first year with the introduction of its Co-op Cycles brand, REI, the nation’s largest outdoor co-op, will introduce eight new adventure touring and recreational transit bikes to the 2018 brand line-up. The ADV and CTY lines will debut four new bikes each. Along with the rest of the Co-op Cycles line, the redesigned ADV series, crafted for riders who enjoy longer touring adventures, and the redesigned CTY series, built for around-the-neighborhood and city commuting, were built from the ground up with inspiration and input from the co-op’s most passionate members and employee cyclists.

The BBVA Compass Dynamo Charities Cup is an annual exhibition match in which the Dynamo take on a team from outside of Major League Soccer, with proceeds benefitting a local nonprofit organization. With an average resale price approaching $300, tickets for the Chicago Cubs’ home debut against the Los Angeles Dodgers is baseball’s most expensive opener in 2017. The Cubs’ season opener on April 2 in St. Louis comes in second with an average purchase price of $221 on the secondary market.
According to data released by online resale marketplace Event Tickets Center, both Cubs games are the only openers with average prices above $200. The next highest average prices are in Texas, Atlanta—where the Braves are set to open SunTrust Park—and Kansas City. On the other end of the spectrum, the cheapest openers are in Anaheim, Minnesota and Miami.

Tom Groenendal, Senior Superintendent for C.W. Driver, said the replacement casino will use 3,900 tons of the product and the hotel will take the other 1,600 tons.
“The structural steel acts as the backbone for the entire project; it supports all the other elements,” he said. “It will take roughly nine to 12 weeks to get all the steel in place.”
Oklahoma City-based W&W/AFCO Steel was chosen after the scope of work was sent out for proposals from five companies.
“W&W was selected as a best value partner and presented ‘outside the box’ ideas to meet the schedule,” Groenendal said. “Before the steel could be placed we had to complete mass excavation and grading (leveling of the site), and have rebar and concrete in place for the foundations and walls that support the steel.”
